Looking for a Personal Assistant/ Support Worker (No Personal Care needed)

Days/timings:

A total of 5 hours a week

Monday and Friday only

2.5 hours on Monday preferred in the afternoon but can be flexible to suit

2.5 hours on Friday preferred in the afternoon but can be flexible to suit

Day to Day Duties:

The Gentleman on a Monday for an hour needs someone that would clean his house for example changing beddings, laundry, cleaning the kitchen and bathroom

* Try to encourage medications being takes as prescribed.

* Encourage personal care.

* Complete a food shop for the Gentleman – get items from co-op

* Help with letter and arranging transport for hospital appointments when needed

* Also, might need to hot food for him if needed

The service user on a Friday for 2.5 hours needs someone who can do shopping, medication and other tasks if needed for example

* Welfare checks to see how he is doing

* Try to encourage medication being taken as prescribed

* Encourage personal care

* Complete practical tasks such as washing up, clearing up the rubbish

* Complete a food shop for the Gentleman
