BDS Recruitment are looking for Care Assistant's based in High Wycombe.

The candidate will be supporting our customers in an independent living scheme for vulnerable adults to live their best life, in the way that they want to. These adults have mental health issues and/or learning disabilities, so an awareness of safeguarding and experience working with mental health and/or learning disabilities is essential.
The candidate will be supporting our customers with personal care (washing, dressing, toileting), administering medication, financial support, meal planning /nutrition advice, skill development to further independence, work alongside professionals regarding the customers welfare, and help to attend appointments.
Who we are looking for:
Experience in the care sector is desirable but most importantly you will need to have a compassionate and caring nature, a great sense of humor and be committed to making a real difference to customer’s lives. We also need the following:
* Availability to work shifts Monday – Sunday
* You should be comfortable supporting customers with personal care (toileting/washing etc)
* Able to demonstrate an ability to meet a wide range of service users’ needs including managing behaviors that can challenge, personal care tasks and administration of medication.
* Have good communication skills, both verbal and written
* Full UK Driving licence is preferred but not essential
Hours: 20 – 40 Hours (Part & Full time positions available)
Must have a Enhanced DBS
Pay is £9 p.h PAYE going up to £9.50 p.h after completion of probation period. Extra £1.50 per hour paid on weekends. We are recruiting for various different posts including Senior Support workers.
