We are seeking an internally based Business Development Manager for the Residential Developer and House Builder sectors.
Ideally the candidate will be of graduate level, confident and outgoing. The Business Development Managers key focus will be to ensure full support is given to the external Business Development Manager and to assist in day-to-day administrative tasks as well as achieving sales targets.
You will ensure best use of our Prospect365 CRM to record and track customer information and store important documentation.
To work with the external Business Development Manager to target and develop Residential new build MVHR specific opportunities.
To secure listing of products at the specification stage of projects profitably.
Ensure Prospect365 (CRM tool) has all customer's correct contacts and divisional offices listed.
Assist in preparing tenders and schedules for specifiers which the BDM can present.
Review, analyse and action leads sent via Prospect365 or self-generated.
Maintain and develop telephone / video call relationships with regional offices of contractual partner companies
Identify new projects from existing contractual partners and ensure that all the organisations involved are aware of the relevant specification schedules and offering.
Review monthly the current status on any live projects, via the income forecast tool.
Attend Exhibitions as and when required including any weekend exhibitions as requested.
Maintain Prospect365 CRM and run reports such as Sales and Income forecast.
Help produce presentations and CPD seminars for the Business Development Manager to present to clients.
There will be on the job training at head office during which you will be trained on understanding the Residential and Developer Housing Sector along with our MVHR solutions and other most suitable products.* Prepare proposals and supporting documentation for customers and the Business Development Manager.
* To ensure the Prospect365 CRM is updated with comprehensive and accurate information and documentation.
* To use effective verbal and written communication skills to co-operate proficiently with customers and colleagues.
* Develop and maintain a rolling diary of purchasing decision cycles for key sector customers (potential and existing).
* To be flexible in approach when required to assist with any business requirements.

Experience in a similar role is ideal
* A confident and outgoing telephone / video meeting manner is a prerequisite
* Suitable customer support services are required
* Knowledge of the Residential ventilation Industry is preferable
* Previous CRM experience is preferable
* Computer literate with knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Teams, Word, and Excel
* Fluent English both spoken and written is essential
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey technical information verbally and in writing is essential
