Business Development Executive
This opportunity is with a family run business who specialise in delivering Telecommunications solutions to businesses. Due to expansion, we currently have a requirement for a New Business Field Sales Executive, to work from our office in High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire. You will be tasked to sell our comprehensive range of VoIP telephone systems, mobile services, and new and innovative data products to small and medium size companies, as well as selling fixed line and managed services solutions.
Focusing on high value SME Business Customers you will take full responsibility for acquiring new business sales and then managing that relationship once the new prospect becomes a customer, enabling you to sell new products into that that customer, increasing your commission, as well as resigning the customers when they have completed the initial minimum term of their contract.
This is not a home based sales role, so if you are not out meeting new customers, you will be required to work from the office in High Wycombe, Bucks, HP12 and will therefore need to live within easy commuting distance of the office.
A business development professional has three primary responsibilities:
* Identifying new sales leads.
* Pitching products and/or services.
* Maintaining fruitful relationships with existing customers.
When it comes to generating leads, day-to-day duties typically include:
* Contacting potential clients via email or phone to establish rapport and set up meetings.
* Researching the needs of other companies and learning who makes decisions about purchasing.
