Our client is one of the fastest growing education companies, that promotes British education internationally via a number of initiatives and partner organisations, including professional bodies.
We are now looking for a Business Development Executive to work full time in our UK office in High Wycombe.
What will you be doing?
As part of our strategic expansion, our client has successfully developed its own exclusive Higher Education programmes in partnership with SQA – Scottish Qualification Authority. The next stage in our strategic plan is to promote these programmes in a verity of International markets.
To support our strategy, we are looking for a Business Development Executive to join our team. Your role will be to research the market and identify leads. You will also:
Make initial contact with prospective partners with the view to convert conversations into sales.
Have line management responsibility for a small but growing team of Junior business development executives.As the business develops, so will the role, with opportunities for promotion to Senior Business Development Executive or Account Manager.
Office hours are 9.00 to 17.00 but as this role develops some flexibility will be required.
What do you need?
No actual sales experience is required, but any sales experience is welcomed, as is the ability to identify and manage a lead and prospects pipeline.
The successful Business Development Executive will need to be an extrovert go-getter, who is driven to expand the business through making connections and identifying opportunities. You will also:
Have fluent English speaking and writing skills.
A strong understanding of UK Higher education would be an advantage.An HND or a degree in a business-related subject would be an advantage.
