My client is a successful, well established manufacturer and distributor of building products with a multi-branch network. Due to expansion, they are looking for a Trade Counter Sales Assistant to work in their new branch in High Wycombe.
In this busy and varied role, you will be a first point of contact for their valued customers and play a key role in the branch.
The role
Dealing with customers face-to-face and over the telephone
Selling their full range of products to trade and retail customers
Giving excellent customer service, offering technical support and product advice
Providing quotes for customers
Taking a proactive approach to sales, using every opportunity to make or increase a sale.
Working within a team to ensure the customer receives high levels of customer service to ensure repeat business
Obtaining stock for customer orders and general warehouse duties
Occasional driving work
Person Requirements
Experience in sales and customer service, preferably in a trade environment
Confident both face-to-face and over the phone
Ability to build strong customer relationships
A good telephone manner with excellent communication skills
Confident when dealing with customers
The ability to build great customer relationships
Excellent communication and interpersonal skill
Computer literate
A full driving licence is essential
