Housing Team Leader / Senior Housing Officer (11-month FTC)
Salary: £36,700 per annum
High Wycombe / Beaconsfield area – working from home currently
Immediate start
Full Time, 37 hours per week, fixed term contract until 31 December 2021
Monday – Friday

Are you experienced in housing and team management?

Our cleint have an exciting opportunity for a Housing Team Leader to join them on a full time basis. You will lead and manage a Housing Team to deliver high-quality, customer focused services to their customers.

Job requirements:
To develop and deliver a high performing culture, where the customer voice is central,
To support the team to achieve performance goals,
To take responsibility for managing first line escalation customer enquiries including formal complaints and MP enquiries,
To be responsible for the management of a portfolio of multi tenure properties across various local authority boundaries, ensuring the best interests of all customers, stakeholders and the business are met,
To deliver a value for money service through effective partnership working with internal teams, external partners, and through customer involvement.

What our client are looking for our next Housing Team Leader to have:
Proven experience of delivering great customer service
Proven experience of performance management, leading and motivating
Previous experience of managing a team – ideally 4 or 5+ team members
Experience in high-quality Housing Management and knowledge of multiple housing tenures including assured, assured shorthold tenancies , fixed term tenancies ,shared ownership, leaseholder, supported and temporary housing
Knowledge of current issues in housing and of relevant housing law, regulation and good practice
Experience of investigating and responding to customer feedback in a fast paced environment with tight turnaround times

Our clients Ideal candidate will be able to step straight into this role and will have experience as a Housing Team Leader or a Senior Housing Officer. Due to the nature of the role there will be the necessity to visit the office on rota basis during the current restrictions.
