Business Improvement Lead

The Business Improvement Lead will play a vital role in helping to continually improve services and lead on delivering operational projects, both big and small. You will work with the senior leadership team, using insight to help identify business improvement activity and the evolution of services – taking the lead in making sure the delivery of objectives.
You will be at the forefront of the delivery of the corporate plan and objectives and will be working with the senior and key business leaders to provide plans and forward movement to their vision. You’ll be working across multiple teams in order to deliver these objectives and will need to be creative and innovative and be able to build sustainable relationships.
You will have gravitas and be able to influence and lead others, with a sound and solid social housing background.
• Be someone who can deliver excellent results for the business – project managing and delivering key improvement activity. You will understand what it takes to deliver successful projects and take ownership for ensuring results are achieved
• Play a key role in helping us deliver on our Corporate Journey, ensuring that we are the best that we can be

• Ensure with all our improvement activity we remain compliant with regulations and legislation
• Provide reports/recommendations to the Senior Leadership Team when required
• Cultivate and nurture effective working relationships with our customers and external partners and stakeholders, ensuring their involvement where needed.
• Make sure our customers inspire and influence the design, delivery and outcome of everything we do
• Lead on reviews of current ways of working where we have identified a desire to improve our performance. You will use internal insight as well as looking at best practice in and outside of sector to help inform the evolution of our services
• Challenge the way we do things by showing where we could be achieving better results – whether for our customers, staff or from a value of money perspective
• Take a solution focussed approached to drive solutions, ensuring solutions are optimised for our customers and the whole business
• Managing the business improvement activity ensuring that where needed quick wins are identified and implemented for the benefit of our customers and teams
• Delivering improvement activity on time and to budget, with strong governance and risk controls
• Ensuring that we remain compliant with regulations and legislation through robust management
• Producing high quality documents relevant for a variety of audiences and clear and accurate information that is communicated as required
