Property Claims Adjuster

Job Summary

A leading global organisation who specialises in claims management and loss adjusting services are expanding across the UK and have a number of new opportunities for experienced claims adjusters.

The role will be working with a highly successful team and you will be working as part of a mobile team, you will visit clients premises dealing with mainly domestic claims.

In summary, you will:

• Assess the cause of the loss.

• Discuss your findings with the customer and produce detailed reports.

• Investigate your findings, working with various internal and external specialists.

Job Role

• Communicate with customers when interpreting insurance policies, assess and determine liability.

• Identify building repairs to scope and fulfil reinstatement

• Investigate and provide the customer with a range of settlement options

• Identify fraud concerns

• Attend site visits with building contractors, surveyors or insurance clients as required.

• Carry out underwriting tasks

Required Skills and Experience

• Proven track record of handling property insurance claims.

• A good understanding of building and construction

• A full driving license and happy to travel
