Housing Team Leader (7-month FTC)
Covering High Wycombe, Aylesbury and Slough
Salary £37,067 per annum
Temporary, Fixed Term Contract until 31st December, 2021
Full Time (Monday – Friday 37 hours per week)
Flexible working from home and across designated working areas.
We are currently seeking an experienced housing manager to effectively lead a Housing Team to deliver a high quality, customer-focused excellent service to all our customers.
Proactive in your approach you will naturally lead a new team, empowering them to achieve, develop and improve their performance. You and your team will efficiently deliver excellent customer focussed housing services including tenancy management and enforcement, owning complex cases, supporting letting tasks, tenancy changes, mutual exchanges and management moves.
You will be responsible for the management of a portfolio of multi tenure properties across various local authorities boundaries you will also deliver a value for money service through effective partnership working. You will have the ability to effectively manage change and development and integrate it in the most efficient way possible.
To be successful in this role you must:
• Experience of leading, motivating and managing a high performing team
• Experience in the delivery and development of a high-quality Housing Management service
• Knowledge of current issues in housing, including housing and estate management and tenancy sustainability
• Knowledge of relevant housing law, regulation and good practice
• Knowledge of multiple housing tenures including temporary housing, general needs and home ownership
• Experience of investigating and responding to complaints
Due to the nature of the role you are also required to possess a full driving licence and vehicle with relevant insurance cover.
