Ashley Kate are delighted to be partnering with a leading organisation in their search for a part time ER Advisor to join them on a permanent basis.
This is a new role that has been created to support the existing ER Advisor. This is a part time role (30 hours per week) and will be mainly remote working with 1-2 days working out of the High Wycombe head office.
The FTW is circa £40k so this actual salary will be pro rated down to circa £32k.
This is a pure employee relations role and will provide advice, guidance and support to Line Management in respect of any ER matters.
Continue to monitor the effectiveness of employment related policies, procedures and template documents, amending to reflect any legislative changes or continuous improvement. Drive Line Management capability by delivering relevant workshops/training interventions.
Main duties
·Provide advice to Line Management Teams on employment law, working arrangements, contractual matters, employee communication and consultation.
·Provide telephone advice to the line management team on employment matters.
·Draft template letters in relation to any informal/formal meetings relating to ER cases.
·Attendance (by phone/skype) at any meetings/hearings as deemed necessary to support Line Managers.
·Monitor and report to Line Management in relation to both short and long-term sickness absence issues.
·Maintain a detailed record of all cases, and advice provided.
·Work in conjunction with the HRBP's to effectively hand over relevant cases ensuring a smooth and consistent service is provided.
·Support Line Management Teams in the effective application of the grievance and disciplinary procedure.
·Drive improved capability in ER matters by delivery of upskilling workshops.
·Support Line Management Teams in closing out issues ensuring both legislation and company procedures are adhered too.
·Drive improvement in HR support services, delivering a great service in a timely and effective manner.
Experience –
·Extensive Complex ER experience is essential.
·Strong employment law knowledge.
·Ability to build relationships with stakeholders,
·Ability to work at pace.
·Excellent communication skills
