Marks Consulting Partners are currently looking for a Design and Quality Manager to work with one of our Housing Association clients in Buckinghamshire.

What the job will be doing

* Work with the Head of Design and Quality to create and deliver a plan that enables effective working with Land and new Business Teams.

* Work with the Land and New Business Teams to provide design and quality support from inception through to hand over to the delivery team on S106, land led and package deals.

* Lead the review and/or commission all technical reports necessary, including setting the scope of works and services of the professional design team. Manage a multi-disciplinary professional design team focussed quality of design and place as well as build.

* To work closely with the land and new business teams to carry out necessary technical due diligence on all opportunities.

What you will need

* Membership of relevant professional body ( ICE, IStructE , RICS, CIBSE, RIBA)

* Recognized qualification in the built environment to degree or HND and above

* A sound understanding of the design process, project technical requirements and overall development process

* A sound understanding and experience of commercial viability in projects and a value and solutions driven approach to work

* Ability to carry out and demonstrable experience in due diligence and technical appraisals
