Extrastaff are recruiting for a Yard and Transport Supervisor to join our busy client based in High Wycombe.

This busy firm are looking for a Yard manager with transport experince to lead their busy team.

You will need a background in a supervisory or managerial position and have transport knowledge to be suitbale for this position.

Duties will include:

– Checking the workflow and prioritising orders based on urgency

– Organising the busy yard and warehouse to store stock correctly

– Generating daily shipment summary reports

– Knowledge of transport for HGV vehicles will be needed for weight limits, PMI and service schedules

– Maintain team training, health and safety and staff performance

– Assisting when required with shipments, stock maintenance and scheduling of work

The hours of work for this position will be 7am-4.30pm with every other Saturday 8am-12pm required.
