General Position Summary:

Responsibility for processing of raw material components ready for production and assisting with receiving goods into stock.
To ensure that work orders are prepared accurately and in a timely manner in accordance with the production or delivery plan.

Essential Functions and Major Responsibilities:

Picking and issuing of all material to work orders, and the return of rejected items from production
Monitor work order shortages
Ensure all items are stored safely within the warehouse maintaining the correct physical location against the Enterprise Resources Planning
Competent use of Enterprise Resources Planning systems and understanding of works orders
Assist with cycle counting and other ad-hoc counts of raw material component inventorySecondary Functions:

Support and assist warehouse team leader in the investigation and resolution of any discrepancies identified
Maintain stock accuracy and ensure all items are clearly labelled
Working with other departments to ensure that purchasing requirements are met within the required process
Maintain a clean and tidy warehouse and loading bay
Ensure safe working practices are followed within the warehouse and report unsafe acts
To assist with the movement of products between warehouse and/or locations
Receiving of goods from suppliers into stock, ensuring supplier documentation is accurate and reporting any discrepancies or quality issues

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Competent use of counter balance and reach forklift trucks(Optional)
Operation of manual handling equipment.
Good numeracy and literacy skills.
