Job Title: Warehouse Operative
Locations: High Wycombe
Salary: £20,070
Hours: Mon -Thurs 8am – 5pm, Fri 8am – 4pm
Start: ASAP

My client is an international Group that develops, manufactures, markets, and distributes products and system solutions for simplified construction and improved indoor climate.
Reporting to the Branch Manager you will need to be a reliable, committed warehouse operative to provide effective duties for business in the branch & sales area.
Your duties will include:
Becoming familiar with all aspects of warehouse operations that relate to your position and if trained & instructed to do so, trade counter operations.
Receiving and accurately process all goods-in, and picking lists, storing away goods for stocks pick/packing goods for dispatch and loading/unloading vehicles.
Showing a continued commitment to developing product knowledge,
Maintaining good housekeeping of the warehouse and production area,
Complying with inspection and recording requirements,
Complying with all Health & Safety processes including adopting safe manual handling operations,
Maintaining good stock control, stock monitoring and stock rotation including participation in, annual stock takes and branch discretionary stock counts,
Any other such duties as may be required to ensure the smooth and efficient day-to-day running of the branch
The suitable candidate will have:
Experience of working in a similar role and / or warehouse environment,
Basic computer skills required to operate the warehouse management and courier systems,
Industry / product knowledge (preferable but not essential),
An NVQ 2 in Warehouse & Storage (would be an advantage),
Forklift Truck experience-either/both Counterbalance and/or Reach (current licences are essential),
Good communication skills both verbal and written,
The ability to follow instructions, to work under pressure and to meet deadlines,
Ability to work effectively as a part of a team but also independently,
To be self-motivated, proactive, accurate, flexible, and willing to learn new skills
Would be advantageous to have EFAW Certificate or Fire Warden training
