My long established ACS accredited client provides a portfolio of manned guarding services for a varied but prestigious client base in the Thames Valley and Home Counties with a particular emphasis towards customer service and contract retention. They are now looking to appoint a dedicated and highly organised Operations Coordinator to be based at the company’s High Wycombe head office. Reporting to the Operations Director the purpose of the role is to manage static rostering and alarm response services, Monday to Friday 07:15 to 18:45.
This is a vital and key business role designed to ensure continuity of service levels, excellent customer service and to ensure the smooth running of operational activities within the business. You will be responsible for the rostering of all sites, and for the work patterns of around 175 employees.This is very much a hand-on role and we are looking for someone who is dynamic, proactive, not afraid to get involved, handle the ever changing nature of security manning, take control of a situation and who can ensure that our mobile and alarm response customers are well looked after (ensuring sickness absences and alarm activations are successfully dealt with etc).
Job Duties:
* Ensuring that manning levels are maintained to contracted levels at all times
* Planning for scheduled and unexpected absences and ensuring continuity of cover
* Management of a team of controllers & mobile drivers
* Performance monitoring & reporting in relation to attendance, patrols & response times
* General operational administration
* Management of keys, sensitive information and access cards
* Managing their patrol and alarm response customers and providing excellent customer service
* Management of CCTV systems
* Management of subcontractors
Key Requirements:
* Experience working with the security industry is preferred but other similar fast moving and busy environments such as a call centre would be considered
* Skilled in administration
* Experience in planning rosters, resources & people
* Excellent level of computer literacy including rostering systems & Microsoft office
* Ability to work to tight deadline and under pressure
* Excellent problem solving abilities
* Flexibility to meet ever changing business needs
* Excellent communication skills
* Outstanding time management & attendance
* Experience in manning teams of officers & drivers
The successful candidate will be required to undergo standard background checks as per security industry requirements. An SIA Licence is preferred but not essential.
Salary £28k, NEST Pension scheme, 20 days holiday, sick pay (after 12 months), Sage employee benefit scheme and free onsite parking
