Salary: £24,866 – £25,425 a year (Scale F)

An excellent opportunity has arisen at Buckinghamshire Fire & Rescue Service for a Community Safety Technician.This role will involve working across the whole of the Service area assisting with our vision, to make Buckinghamshire and Milton Keynes the safest areas in England in which to live, work and travel.

Based at High Wycombe Fire Station, the perfect candidate for our Community Safety Technician role will be:
* Great at communicating with people
* Flexible in their approach to work
* Keen to support local stations in the delivery of prevention activity
* Passionate about improving the lives of vulnerable people
The successful candidate will work to reduce the risk of fire through delivering advice and guidance. They will also instal risk reduction equipment as required to those living in specialised housing environments, high-rise premises, sheltered accommodation and other similar settings. They will provide an additional swift response to engage with the community in areas where there has been a significant fire.
