Our client a fast-growing Medical Devices company based in Buckinghamshire is recruiting for an experienced Electronics Design Project Engineer to join their team, this role will report to the Senior Design & Development Engineer.

ROLE OVERVIEW:

Project support for new and existing products, within the requirements of our Quality Management System. This includes, feasibility, planning, design, verification, validation, design transfer, and release.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

New product

Work with team(s) to produce, in accordance with the Quality Management System

* Feasibility reports

* Risk analyses

* Design briefs

* Project plans

* Design inputs, outputs & reviews

* Design verification plans, protocols and activities

* Design validation plans, protocols and results

* Design reviews

* Production build and test documentation

Existing products

Work with team(s) to support:

* All departments within Company

* Customers

* Completion of Product Change Requests

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & EDUCATION TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THE JOB:

Education Required:

Minimum, Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline.

Years of related experience:

Minimum, 3 years in the medical device/medical service industry.

REQUIREMENTS:

Minimum 5 years of product design and/or development experience. In addition, knowledge, or skills, related to the following is an advantage.

* Leadership

* Communication (written & verbal)

* Quality Management Systems

* Product safety standards

* Analogue and digital electronics

* EMC

* Thermal management

* Optics

* Embedded microcontrollers

* PCB design

* SolidWorks

PHYSICAL AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

* Travel is required occasionally for this position

* Ability to sit and use a computer for extended periods of time; ability to answer phones and utilise a variety of office equipment
