Business Development Manager – Ophthalmic Lenses

Hertfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Bedfordshire, Berkshire

Salary up to £36k + Bonus, Car, Benefits

Do you have previous medical sales experience as well as experience of working as an optometrist? Do you want to work for a market leading and growing company? If so, this is the opportunity for you!

We are currently recruiting a Business Development Manager for a leading medical device company who specialise within Ophthalmology.

This a field based sales role, covering the Hertfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Bedfordshire and Berkshire territory. The position will be responsible for selling a range of ophthalmic lenses to both new and existing independent optician customers. The primary focus of this position will be to foster, build and maintain relationships that will develop sales of the company’s full product range in line with stated goals and forecasts.

Requirements:

* Educated to degree level or equivalent

* Optical education / experience preferred

* Experience of successful sales account management in related field

* Knowledge of lens manufacturing processes, company products and a good understanding of the UK optical market would be an asset

* Full Driving Licence
