A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced and energetic Project Manager to join the marketing team, to enable Hovis to deliver on its vision of being the best quality brand in bakery. We are looking for a focused, diligent and ambitious project manager who will play a pivotal role in accelerating our growth through delivering NPD and EPD initiatives to market swiftly within the quality parameters set by the Project leads, as well as enhancing the
Hovis project management ways of working and processes. High quality and organised project management is key to achieving this success.
Working collaboratively with marketing project leads, central support functions across the Hovis network and third parties:
* To project manage the planning and delivery of our NPD, EPD and pack change of our Branded portfolio across Core Bread and Other Bakery from scoped definition through to launch and post launch review within the Hovis Stage & Gate process.
* To ensure that all owned projects are to be delivered within scope, time and budget to the agreed quality, on time and in full.
* Working closely with Senior Programme and Project Manager and Marketing project leads to support, and enhance, the project management governance via the Stage & Gate cycle and identify and drive improvements to our ways of working.
* Be responsible for detailed planning and the identification of risk, taking responsibility for working to remove obstacles quickly and efficiently via corrective actions.
* Create critical path timelines which identify and sequence the activities needed to successfully complete the projects and those responsible for the actions incorporating interdependencies and links with wider projects to deliver Hovis project solutions.
* Ensure tight control of project scope with clear approval process through, and including presentation of gate and project updates, to the monthly Stage & Gate for owned projects alongside any projects which have a change in scope.

Ideal Experiences / Qualifications / Capabilities:
Essential:
* Proven project management experience and a track record of delivering projects on time and in full (time, cost, quality)
* Evidence of having managed projects through a full cycle from scoped idea to in market delivery and post launch review
* Demonstrable experience of operating within a Stage & Gate process project management model
* Experience of management of multiple activities / projects simultaneously
* Experience in FMCG in a medium/large complex businesses
* Problem solving skills
* Proven collaborative, influencing and interpersonal skills in a cross functional environment
* Good and broad understanding of business process across relevant functions eg. Supply Chain, Marketing, Finance, Technical, Commercial
* Excellent verbal, written and presentational skills
* Commercial acumen and sound financial understanding
* 3 years + in FMCG, food, commercial, project management with developed skills as evidenced in managing challenging product to market projects.
Desirable
* Experience of multi-site environments
* Ability to use Google applications ( or willingness to learn!)
* University degree
