Our client a successful well-known company in High Wycombe are seeking a Marketing and Events Executive.
You will be working as part of a small team providing support on their websites, events, and database management.
This role offers excellent career development and growth for the right candidate.
Salary £23,000 – £24,000 depending in experience.
Full time Monday to Thursday 9am – 5pm and Friday 9am – 4pm
Tasks & Responsibilities
* Upload/schedule press releases onto the Design Insider website via WordPress
* Construct and mail Design Insider newsletters via Mailchimp
* Work with the Design Insider Editor on website development
* Assist Marketing and Events Manager with uploading content when required
* Assist with general development of the website
* Produce and manage the distribution of social media posts related to posted content via Hootsuite
* Produce and manage the distribution of social media posts related to website content via Hootsuite and when advised by Marketing and Events Manager
* Produce Monthly social media reports with new followers/engagement/most popular posts to feedback to team
* To assist with research to identify venues
* Assist with policing of guest lists and compliance
* Support with new events and exhibitions
* Co-ordinate sponsorship information
* Assist with the general administration of events and exhibitions
* Develop mailings using Act database and web email-outs as directed.
* Maintain member data, update records, support with new data entry and some data research (internet and phone calls)
* Manage bounce-backs
* Oversee PR communications across all media
* Continue updating and researching into a PR communications contacts list
* Work with the team to create a PR communications plan on a monthly basis
Experienced Required:
* At least 1-2 year of marketing experience
* Good and demonstrable experience with WordPress, Hootsuite, Photoshop and InDesign
* Able to work independently
* Confident with multi-tasking
* Working to tight deadlines
* Excellent time management
* Good telephone manner
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
* Attention to detail
