Our client is looking for an experienced Digital Marketing Executive who will be eager to join a rapidly growing business.
This role will focus heavily on delivering their email, social media (organic) and content marketing strategies and will involve other digital marketing channels, such as SEO and PPC.
Responsibilities:
• Planning/implementing effective and targeted email marketing campaigns using their email service provider, from brief to post-campaign analysis to drive sales to their product portfolio
• Ensuring email content is consistent with the wider business focus, considering the customer journey at every touch point
• Producing monthly newsletter campaigns to help develop brand/consumer relations
• Analysing your email campaigns against return on investment, reporting their performance to senior stakeholders
• Brainstorming/generating new ideas for future email messages
• Ensuring all emails are GDPR compliant
• Managing their social media channels on Instagram, Facebook, YouTube and LinkedIn, including moderating comments, interacting with users, posting and keeping users engaged
• Managing/implementing the social media calendar, publishing diverse and timely content to social media feeds to engage audiences and to deliver on the company’s communications objectives, as set out in the marketing plan
• Designing/implementing strategies to grow audiences, increasing reach and taking advantage of untapped opportunities identified within the social media landscape
• Managing inbound social communications to ensure customer enquiries are received, appropriately responded to, or directed to the correct team (identifying and addressing any brand risks along the way)
• Monitoring KPIs against company social media marketing objectives
• Supporting the SEO team by creating website content, including long-tail keyword focused and product landing pages
• Writing/editing/managing accurate, accessible and informative content, including blogs
• Working with the SEO team to research/establish their quarterly content calendar
• Reporting on the overall performance of their email, social and content channels, showcasing your KPI findings to senior management monthly
Special Requirements:
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in marketing (in-house or agency)
• Experience in creating email marketing campaigns and monitoring their performance
• Experience in managing corporate social media accounts
• Strong knowledge of other areas of the digital marketing landscape, including SEO and Paid Media
• Strong/effective project management skills and experience
• Demonstrated ability to plan campaign timelines and work accurately to them
• Excellent grammatical and proofreading skills
• Copywriting/copyediting
• Sharp eye for detail
• Competent using Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel
• Great communication skills and with a positive, sociable, team-player attitude
• Ability to work proactively, independently and “hit the ground running”
£25K-£32K (D.O.E.) per annum + monthly/annual bonuses (based on personal/company performance)
