As the Business Insights Leader, you'll provide strategic insight from global customer, business and market intelligence for this world leading pharmaceutical and medical device conglomerate.
* As part of a senior team, provide strategic business insights and recommendations for the global healthcare / pharmaceutical business by consolidating and triangulating data and information from primary and secondary market research, forecasting, analytics and competitive intelligence.
* Bring independent and strategic thinking while working closely with Marketing colleagues to develop value propositions. Identify data gaps and generate an annual insights roadmap for the different brands, including timelines, methodologies and budgets needed.
* Execute market research projects including vendor selection and management, utilising new research methodologies and data sources, when required. Collaborate with the Analytics Team on market sizing and ad hoc analyses.

REQUIREMENTS
* You must have experience in a similar business insights, market intelligence or market analyst in the pharmaceutical, medical device or other commercial healthcare space, covering European and USA markets (ideally China too). Experience in oncology, medical imaging / diagnostic imaging markets is useful but not essential.
* Technical experience in different research methods and approaches, with market and customer insight generation across international markets. Expertise in triangulating and aggregating qualitative and quantitative data from multiple sources to develop hypotheses when developing and evaluating product, market, and business forecasts.
* Ideal for an insights specialist seeking a broader, hands-on role as a key contributor. As such, strong internal customer management and influencing skills with capability and confidence to provide solid strategic recommendations are needed.
* Ideally located in or close to North London, West London, Reading, Maidenhead, Slough, Oxford, Milton Keynes, Luton, Bedford, High Wycombe, St Albans, Watford, but other UK locations will be considered.
PACKAGE
* Salary guide: £65-85,000 plus 15% bonus, car allowance and excellent benefits
