Technical Author / Design Support Engineer required. Our client is a reputable and growing multi-national manufacturer based in the High Wycombe area.

Due to ongoing success they are an experienced Technical Author / Design Support Engineer to develop technical literature, product specifications, operating and user manuals for their growing product range. The successful candidate will, over time gain a strong understanding of the company's product range to be able to provide accurate and detailed product information.

Technical Author / Design Support Engineer Position Overview

Creating technical literature and drawings for operating and user manuals
Determining and updating product specifications for new and existing products
Developing comprehensive technical literature for new products
Producing Bill of Materials and preparing files for manufacture
Maintaining and updating the Solidworks PDM software

Technical Author / Design Support Engineer Position Requirements

Proven background within a Technical Author / Design Support role
Based in a commutable distance of High Wycombe
Experienced with Solidworks software
HNC qualified or above in a Mechanical / Manufacturing / Design related subject

Technical Author / Design Support Engineer Position Remuneration

Salary £25,000 – £38,000 – depending on experience
Monday to Friday 09:00 – 17:00
32 Days Holiday, including bank holidays
