We are a specialist electronics company who specialise in providing Control Systems to the biggest and best contractors in Defence industry worldwide. We are looking to recruit a Production Inspector to join us on an initial 3 month contract.
Key Responsibilities:
* Inspection of products to drawing, providing clear feedback to Production on remedial activity required
* Log all activity via Workbench within IFS system
* Measure actual time vs routing planned for each activity to support continuous improvement in planning
* Work cross functionally to deliver the project on time and as expected
* Manage Non-conforming material according to company processes
* Assist with fault investigations on items returned for repair
* Proactively address quality issues and concerns
* Promote Culture of Quality and Continuous Improvement, supporting specific initiatives as required
Skills, Qualification and Experience
* IPC 610 and 620 trained and competent in assessment
* Experience of Measuring devices Electrical & Mechanical
* Interpretation of Drawings to 3D product
* Good Computer literacy – IFS an advantage
* Wirer skills (ideally prototype)
