At Origin, we are looking for a Credit Control Executive to join a friendly and supportive team within an industry leading company where hard work is recognised and development is encouraged.
Key Responsibilities of the Credit Control Executive consist of but are not limited to:
Daily review of balance prepayment schedule, applying cash and releasing orders for delivery.
Handling customer queries by phone and email and updating call logs.
Ensure all assigned Trade partner accounts are fully reconciled promptly.
Raise Credit Notes where necessary, ensuring approval at appropriate levels.
Initial credit checks and application form review to ensure completeness.
Creation of Customer statements ensuring full reconciliation before submission.
Sending copy invoices on request.
Build rapport with assigned portfolio of Trade partners and upkeep of their information i.e. names, addresses, legal entity details, and payment terms.
Collate account application packs to be sent to Trade partners as and when required.
Open communication with the Account Managers to effectively manage the accounts and to give visibility of any issues and concerns.
Administer card payments both over the phone and online, processing through Sage Pay with allocation on internal systems.
Respond to day-to-day finance queries from external and internal stakeholders.
Raising of sales invoices as and when necessary.
Allocation of bank receipts as and when required.
Remove and reallocate deposit receipts as and when necessary if order is changed.What you will have:
Excellent attention to detail.
Possess a confident and professional manner with strong telephone and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work to tight deadlines in a methodical & organised manner.
Good communication skills.
Able to work well within a team environment but also with limited supervision.
Experience with ERP systems would be an advantage.
