CNC Miller / Setter required for a well-established precision engineering firm based in the High Wycombe area. Our client specialise in the manufacture of high quality components supplying markets within the Manufacturing and Aerospace industries.

CNC Miller / Setter Position Overview

The successful candidate will primarily be responsible for the Setting of 3 and 4 Axis Haas CNC Mills, other responsibilities will include setting a 5 axis CNC router, which training will be provided on.

Other responsibilities include:

Interpreting engineering drawings and bills of materials
Working to ensure scrap levels are minimised
Ensuring production schedules are met
Inspection of finished parts to ensure quality compliance

CNC Miller / Setter Position Requirements

Apprentice trained or time served with experience in operating, setting and running of CNC vertical mills, ideally Haas machinery experience.
Good knowledge in tool setting and tooling requirements.
Desire and ability to learn CNC Programming
Experience using Fanuc controls is desirable.
Ability to read and understand Engineering Drawings and Tolerances.
Be able to set a standard of cleanliness and maintain it in their working area.
Based in a commutable distance from High Wycombe

CNC Miller / Setter Position Remuneration

Salary £30,000 to £38,000 (dependant on experience)
Monday to Thursday 07:00 – 16:00. Friday 07:00 – 13:00.
33 Days Holiday, including bank Holidays
Life Assurance benefit. Health cover (after qualifying period of 12 months)
