Job Title: CNC Miller
Job Type: Permanent
Hours: 37.5 hours per week. (Night Shift Monday to Thursday) + Night Shift Allowance. O/T Available
Location: Buckinghamshire
Annual Salary: Negotiable (D.O.E)
CNC Miller required for a manufacturing company based in Buckinghamshire.
The company produces a wide variety of components and sub-assemblies for a number of interesting markets.
ABOUT THE ROLE:
As a CNC Miller Machinist, you will be producing a variety of parts and components. This will be small batch sizes but producing large parts up to 2 tonnes.
Your key duties will include:

Setting and operating HAAS milling machines
Setting & operating on HAAS 3&4 Axis Machines
Working on HAAS VF6/VF8 machines
Fanuc controls and be able to set and run multiple machines and machining processes
Working to very tolerances
You will be machining low carbon Steel and Aluminium
Carrying out 1st off inspection and check/complete the necessary quality documentation
Verifying dimensions and alignment with measuring instruments such as micrometres, gauges, CMM's.
Assisting engineering to increase quality standards and productivity
REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
To be considered for the role of CNC Miller Machinist, you must have:

A recognised engineering apprenticeship
Experience of engineering/manufacturing role ideally within the science and research industry
Previous experience performing difficult CNC Machinist work where very close tolerances must be maintained
Good knowledge of machining techniques and appropriate tooling
Knowledge of relevant inspection techniques/equipment to verify drawing tolerance
Previous experience of HAAS machining centres is essential
