COVID-19 Testing Unit Deputy Manager

Summary of the role:
You will support the delivery of testing for service users that visit the COVID-19 Mobile Test Unit.
Role responsibilities:
* Deputise for the site manager in his absence and take responsibility for running the site
* Manage the resource leads and supervisors and ensuring their duties are carried out
* Instilling culture into the sites by supporting the site lead on all requirements.
* Adherence to all processes and procedures.
* Liaison with local police & council/landlord contacts
* Liaison with media – referral to DHSC Ops
* Liaison with key partners
* Manage the administration of the site
* Ordering supplies
* Liaison with procurement Recording hourly test numbers Requirements:
* Experience working with members of the public
* Exceptional communication skills
* Flexible attitude
* Ability to work as a team – The post holder must have operational experience of managing a team, while also working with key external partners.
Ideal Backgrounds:
* Retail Assistant Manager / Management roles
* Event Management background
* Military or Services (including 999 services)
* Operational, Project or Office Management
* Customer Service Management
Location: High Wycombe
Contract: Temporary Salary: £14.25 per hour
Hours: Rota shifts 12 hours – 4 days on 4 days off (Including weekends)
Duration: rolling fixed-term contract basis – upto 12x months (flexible)
