I am working exclusively with a great engineering company based in High Wycombe. We are recruiting a systems analyst to join a small team to provide technical system maintenance and support. The day to day of this role will be looking after the current systems and trouble-shooting any issues whilst supporting colleagues with day to day problems with the use of business applications and systems.

The systems analyst will need to have a strong understanding of SQL and at a minimum be able to read and edit scripts to create queries and reports, ideally you will be able to code in SQL.

Key Requirements / Experience

* At least 2 years in a systems analyst or similar role

* Strong problem solving skills

* Proven experience of providing solutions to technical issues

* Administration, configuration and development of business systems

* Creation of technical documents including SOPs and user manuals

* Able to edit a SQL script to create queries and reports

The company are still in a period of growth and this is a new role to provide further support to the senior systems analyst. They have on-site parking and a company gym.
