Senior Support Engineer – High Wycombe – £40,000 – £50,000

The Senior Support Engineer is responsible for installing and supporting the new implementation of the businesses tech platforms. They're looking for someone to come in and help implement and support client systems, provide technical consultancy and grow a technical team for support engineers. This is a varied and interesting position within a reputable and fast growing Technology Company. This business will offer career progression and opportunities to move up into technical consultancy, architecture and management.

Skills needed:

** Minimum 5 years' experience in IT systems administration, enterprise application deployment and maintenance on IIS server

** Demonstrated experience collaborating with offshore technical teams

** Database administration and maintenance on SQL Server 2016 and SQL Server Reporting Service (SSRS)

** Knowledge of IIS server

** Knowledge in Active directory, multi domain environment, DNS, DHCP and Group policies

** Knowledge in Server hardening and security standards

** Knowledge of routers, managed switches and firewalls

** Good knowledge of virtualisation technologies, VMware and Hyper-V

** Excellent written and verbal communication skills, coupled with strong documentation and organisational skills

** Experience with Microsoft PowerShell scripting and SQL statements

** Good knowledge of server monitoring, performance optimisation and capacity planning
