Mid-Level Drupal Developer
Responsible to: Solutions Architect – Lead Drupal Developer

Role summary:
We are looking for a full time, permanent Mid-Level Drupal Developer to join our superstar Web & Marketing teams. This role will report into the Solution Architect (Lead Drupal Developer) and will be supported by a Senior Drupal Engineer, a Junior Front End Developer and a Graphic Designer in order to build and develop the company's Drupal web ecosystem, innovative websites and online Drupal software.
Key tasks:
* Work closely with the Web Team to design and implement Drupal solutions and to ensure an effective implementation of new functionalities in the company's Drupal web ecosystem.
* Develop custom modules and functionalities
* Develop Drupal pages and front-end components with clean, semantic mark-up, using Drupal API, Twig, HTML5, CSS/ Sass, Bootstrap, JavaScript and other web dev technologies.
* Create and consume Web Services using REST APIs
* Update modules and fix any emergent issues that may arise
* Monitor and test websites
* Contribute to continuous process improvement and documentation
* Provide accurate timing estimates on work
* Support team members to help building creative and cutting-edge web pages
* Maintain awareness of industry issues and trends, included in terms of performances and scalability
Occasional work out outside of normal working hours will be required (e.g. deployment windows)
Qualifications, Skills and Experience

Essential
* A-Level or equivalent in Information Technology or at least 3 years' equivalent experience
* Proficient at creating websites with Drupal 8/9, knowledge of Drupal 7
* Good experience of creating custom modules and hooks
* PHP (OOP) coding, PHP frameworks (e.g. Symphony), MySQL
* Front-end languages such as HTML, JavaScript and Sass/CSS
* API-First CMS Technology, integrating with RESTFUL web services and with third parties
* Open-Source software, LAMP stack, Docker…
* Write clean, testable, reusable and well-documented code
* Comfortable using Version control with Git
* Comfortable with command line
* Good knowledge of web security best practices
* Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
* Strong attention to detail and consistency to minimise errors
* A team player positive attitude and eagerness to learn
Desirable
* 3 plus years' Drupal development experience
* Experience with large-scale Drupal sites
* Experience of functional automated testing
* Contributor to the community in the form of contributed code to Drupal Modules or Core is advantageous
