Junior Software Developer – Graduate position
Starting Salary £28K (reviewed at six months)

As the Junior software Developer / Graduate Developer, you will…
Build your expertise in web development, using the .NET framework, JavaScript, CSS and HTML
Develop your expertise in programming in C++
Test and implement complex algorithms in C++
Liaise with our Modelling and Analytics team to design and develop solutions for our pricing and forecasting products.
Analyse and evaluate code performance, and implement improvements
Once you have developed your skills as a software developer and combined this with excellent communication skills, you will…
Take on full responsibility for managing and maintaining key aspects of the codebase
Be able to write highly maintainable, high-performance code to a superior standard
Lead demonstrations and training on new products

Are you:
A graduate with at least a first or 2:1 at an undergraduate level in computer science, or any technical degree (e.g. maths or physics) with significant programming content
Experienced with at least one of the following languages: C++, C#, VB.Net, JavaScript
Able to write clean and maintainable code
Experienced in Object Oriented programming
A strong communicator (writing, face-to-face, one-to-one, groups, presentations)
Able to demonstrate a history of getting the job done on time and completed to a high standard
Able to work full-time from our offices near High Wycombe.
