An excellent opportunity to take responsibility for improving and driving the performance of a 3rd line infrastructure support team. This role is critical for the performance of the IT team within the business during a period of significant change. 

Working as the manager of a small infrastructure team, you'll be responsible for prioritising BAU and project work, improving process and driving and optimising team performance. You'll need to motivate the team and support them in cross skilling as a technology upgrade transforms the infrastructure they support, and you'll work closely with stakeholders to ensure the business needs are met. You'll have direct access to Exec stakeholders and will play a key role in the transformation of the core business infrastructure, as well as close involvement with the migration of multiple applications onto new cloud platforms. 

You'll need a good background in platform operations and a good technical background with Microsoft technologies – AD, Windows Server etc. The key to this role is the ability to work with stakeholders and technical teams, create solutions to problems and motivate and drive teams to succeed.  

The role is based in Buckinghamshire with plenty of opportunity for flexible working.
