Excellent opportunity for a software tester to join a scientific company, in a challenging, permanent position.

We are looking for an Embedded Software Tester to test and validate embedded software created by a third party to ensure it meets the design requirements and operates to appropriate standards. The successful candidate will be responsible for testing code both on the bench and within finished products. You will also be expected to maintain the test equipment and provide formal embedded software validation reports, as well as carry out investigations into reported software bugs.

Qualifications/Skills/Experience:

* NVQ Level 3 in Engineering or Sciences related subjects

* Basic knowledge of C/C++ for embedded microcontrollers

* Previous experience with software testing

* Good organisational skills with an eye for detail

* Ability to prioritise workload and manage multiple tasks
