Development Manager required for my client based near High Wycombe.

This role will be a mixture of remote work and office work. At the moment the position is remote based due to National Lockdown.

My client develop a white label product for the Financial Services industry.

Role & responsibilities:

Management of:
· Product Development
· Full SDLC (Software Development Life-cycle)
· Application Security (Vulnerability Scanning, Pen Testing, Patch & Update Management, OWASP)
· Application Hosting & DNS
· Offshore Development Team
· Technology partners and suppliers
· Infrastructure and infrastructure planning
· Creating and communicating new developments (release notes to the business and other stakeholders)
· Gathering of user requirements for new development/change requests
· Troubleshooting technical user issues
· Drive change to implement efficient and effective strategies
· Actively participate in communication between parties in order to respond to business needs
· Respond to the changing needs of the business
· Actively contribute to the process of continual improvement, with regard to self, team and systems

Knowledge, Skills & Experience
General Skills

· Proven experience of managing software development teams including people management
· Experience in Full Software Development Life-cycle from design to deployment, understanding best practices and trends in software development

Technical Skills

· Experience of working with technologies such as: HTML5, CSS3, JQuery, AngularJS, PHP, MySQL
· Experience in using Scrum or other Agile methodologies

Desirable Skills:

· Experience in or managing Mobile App development (Android and iOS)
· Experience of migrating a multi-tier architecture to a public cloud service such as AWS
