ROLE – 3rd Line Support Engineer
SALARY – £38,000 – £45,000
LOCATION – High Wycombe
We have partnered with a growing software company who are going through a period of growth after having their busiest year to date and are now looking to add a 3rd Line Support Engineer to their IT & Infrastructure department. This opportunity will join a dynamic team supporting internal users across a number of sites in the UK.
The 3rd Line Support Engineer will ideally have the following skills/experience:
Proven experience working as a 3rd Line Support Engineer
Remote desktop servers
Office 365/Microsoft Exchange
A strong knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policy and associated Microsoft technologies
Exceptional personable & strong communication skills
Implementing virtualisation (VMware)
The 3rd Line Support Engineer will be responsible for:
Being the escalation point for 1st/2nd Line Support staff
Providing training to 1st/2nd Line Support Technicians
Carrying out network troubleshooting
Deploying systems and project updates
Ensure the smooth running of technology operations
Keeping up to date with technology advances and industry best practices
