Are you looking for an exciting new opportunity? Do you thrive on providing excellent customer service and support? If so my client, with a base in High Wycombe, are currently seeking, due to promotion an IT Support Analyst to join their team. As the first point of contact you will gather details around any IT issues. From there you will resolve or escalate where necessary enabling staff to keep working without exception, and as such, be part of the team that keep all internal and external systems working.
The role will cover but is not limited to:
* Providing technical IT support ensuring that all IT equipment including desk phones are functioning
* Monitoring systems and outages and when required resolving the problem or escalating to 2nd line or 3rd parties if needed.
* Incident management
* Keeping documentation up to date in respect to user guides, processes and guidance
* Supporting users with AV equipment
* Providing ongoing maintenance – such as rebuilding or replacing all IT hardware that is used
* Being an active part of the internal IT team, offer suggestions, give input to help streamline and improve the end user experience in relation to all internal IT.
Skills for this role:
* Understanding of MS desktop environment and ITIL methodology
* Exposure to Windows Operating Systems
* Experience of troubleshooting MS Office Application Suite
* Ability to make decisions or act on own initiative
* CompTIA A+ certification or equivalent.
* Qualified to A level or equivalent in an IT related discipline
* Ability to communicate or translate complex technical issues to non-technical staff in both a written and verbal manner,
* Logical problem solving strategies
