We are looking for experienced Service Engineers with a HVAC background, so if that sounds like you, read on.
We are recruiting a Service Engineer to work in the HVAC industry to cover the UK and which will be based at our offices in High Wycombe. You will be working as part of the company's technical support team providing support internally to other departments and externally to customers, installers and other industry professionals.
Field based work will be required to carry out the service, commissioning, and call-out duties on a wide range of Ventilation products within the HVAC Industry. A company vehicle will be provided.
Our office-based duties would include working in our offices providing 2nd line support to customers and colleagues by phone and email.
As the department grows so will the amount of time spent in the Field. This will require you to be able to prioritise your work, set targets, and distribute work as necessary to ensure results are achieved on time.
Full training on our products and systems will be provided.
Key responsibilities:
Site attendances primarily for Commercial MVHR system set-ups, commissioning of Domestic MVHR systems, and warranty, chargeable calls and pre-planned maintenance visits for Commercial MVHR, Domestic MVHR, and domestic fans.
Undertakes troubleshooting including 2nd line support assistance by phone and email, and arranging site visits to carry out repairs if necessary;
Assists the Internal Sales team with upselling field services to self-generate revenue from site visits;
Maintains a high level of customer service in a professional and timely manner and uphold Company standards with a conscientious and pro-active approach;
Maintains clear, concise and effective business communication proficiently, both verbal and written. For example, documenting all site visits completing internal reports and updating company systems in a timely manner;
Provides technical support in a sales office environment and recommend solutions for a wide range of ventilation products;
Is flexible in approach when required to cover during colleagues' holiday and absence;
Actively engages in self-improvement and also the upskilling of colleagues; and

Essential Skills
Qualifications/ Knowledge:
A demonstrable technical background, preferably in HVAC;
Must hold a full driving licence valid for the UK;
Fluent English, both spoken and written is essential;
A working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel; and
NICEIC, BPEC or CSCS card desirable, but training would be providedSkills:
Shows strong customer service skills and the ability to interact confidently with customers and colleagues to provide support and training on products and systems;
Demonstrates the ability to interpret and communicate technical data and being able to communicate this effectively both verbally and in writing to the target audience (e.g. end user vs designer);
Understands architectural drawings and technical specifications;
Is quality focussed with a proactive approach to technical challenges; and
Proven ability to manage multiple deadlines within a tight schedule.Experience:
Minimum of three years previous experience in a similar technical/ service role;
HVAC industry experience would be beneficial but not required;
Experience of reading, understanding and interpreting technical reports and drawings; and
Experience of using and updating a CRM system and/ or completing electronic call dockets would be desirable, but full training would be provided.About Company
