Security Systems Engineer
We are looking for an experienced Multi disciplined Security systems engineer to join our vibrant team.
We work within a one hour radius of our base, so no long travel times. This allows us to offer high levels of responsiveness; we expect you will be as customer focused and committed to delivering the highest standards as we are to our residential and commercial clients.
Duties and Responsibilities of the Security Systems Engineer position:
Small works, installations, first & second fix, commissioning & servicing of Security systems.
Handovers following completion of works, inclusive of all necessary paperwork.
Fault finding & remedial works.
Service & maintenance as required by the team.
Technical support to other team members if there are systems on which you are expert.
Participation in the On Call rota on a 1 in 4 basis, a standby allowance plus call out is paid.
Experience & Qualifications required for the Security Systems Engineer role:
Experience working for a SSAIB or NSI regulated company.
Knowledge of working with both commercial and residential clients.
Proficiency in intruder alarms particularly in fault finding across a range of manufacturers.
A broad understanding of the principles of networking, in particular for CCTV.
Good knowledge of relevant Standards & familiarity with appropriate certification.
A full, clean UK driving licence.
Experience working on fire alarms and / or automated gates would be a plus but is not a requirement.

Security Systems Engineer Benefits:
Salary between £30,000 – £36,000 dependant on experience plus on call standby and call out.
Working hours of 0800 – 1700 Monday to Friday with limited travel to site required.
