Sales Engineer
Permanent Staff | Field based

A well-established industrial equipment supplier.

The Role
My client is looking for a motivated engineer looking to progress into a technical sales and support role. The vacancy is open to candidates with practical experience and qualifications. This role is to develop and grow sales in existing accounts and establish new accounts within your region.

Daily Duties
– Dealing with a variety of sized accounts
– Maintaining and growing customer base
– Developing enquiries and preparing quotations
– Developing new customers from sales leads
– Making technical recommendations and offering technical advice
– Follow up on enquires by phone and email

The Candidate
1. Engineering qualification
2. Experience in a sales focused environment
3. Must be able to drive
4. Must have the right to work in the U.K
5. Able to work individually and meet sales targets

Desirable Skills
Previous field sales experience
Knowledge of components, sensors, PLC's or software packages
