QA Officer

£30,000 + excellent benefits

A leading, reputable provider of medical engineering services is seeking a QA Officer who will focus on maintaining all areas of the Quality Management System, including compliance to relevant standards and medical device regulations.

Key accountabilities – QA Officer

+ Perform internal audits on ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 13485:2016 compliance at head office and

at hospital sites across England.

+ Maintaining accurate records of the information found during the audit and writing summary

reports and raising non-conformance reports as a result of findings from the audit.

+ Become a quality subject matter expert

+ Report and manage non-conformances (CAPAs, deviations) and perform root cause analysis

+ Manage, update, create procedures and assist other departments in writing and revising

procedures

+ Perform supplier audits

+ Deal with customer complaints and customer feedback

+ Perform supplier evaluations

+ Be instrumental in the implementation of an Electronic Quality Management System

+ Drive continuous improvement

+ Maintaining the electronic quality management system

Skills and knowledge required – QA Officer

+ Must have an excellent understanding of QA processes

+ Must be an experienced internal auditor

+ Must have a good understanding of Microsoft Office

+ Must have strong organisational skills and a high level of attention to detail

+ Experience in a Quality Assurance role for 2+ years

+ Knowledge and understanding of ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System Standard

+ Experienced in root cause analysis

+ Full UK Driving license
