Production Operative

3 month probation (through our agency)
£10.50 per hour
10am-6pm. Overtime possible
22 days + bank holidays

Syntech are searching for a Production Operative for our Lab solutions client based out of High Wycombe . This is a dynamic role with various functions and responsibilities, including working on production machinery (full training provided) following SOP's (standard operating procedures) and packing goods.

Production Operative duties:

Manning plastic injection moulding machines
Processing and assembling specialist laboratory consumables
Boxing / palletising shipments and booking them in for collection
Completion of documentation to ensure full traceability
To work safely and effectively in a production environment, training will be provided where needed
To understand and work within set procedures and protocol in line with our ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System
To work in and maintain a clean and tidy environment
To carry out general production, assembly and warehouse duties.

SKILLS/DESIRABLE QUALITIES:

Very high attention to detail required in all aspect of the role
The ability to follow instructions and complete tasks efficiently
Ability to switch between tasks easily
Good communications skills
Ability to work well in a team and individually
Physically able due to manual labour requirements

An understanding of the importance of documentation and traceability preferably demonstrated with experience in a previous role at a company with ISO certification.
