Your Role:
Nationwide Engineering Group are seeking an experienced Rail / Building / Civils Planner. This role will be based in High Wycombe and will be on a full-time basis. This is a unique opportunity to work within a highly successful team, and to work alongside colleagues across a variety of Rail / Building / Civils project within the UK for our established Company.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide programmes, analysis of programmes and communication within the team during all stages of the projects and as required from inception to completion of projects including monitoring and reporting during these periods.
* Produce programmes for tenders and working alongside our bid teams.
* Ability to cost load programmes and update throughout the life cycle of the project
* We are looking for people who share our passion for the project at hand whilst also being able to work within a fun and hardworking team environment
* Produce fully logic linked design, procure and construct tender programmes
* Produce and assist in the production of tender logistics plans, method statements, and temporary works (TW) schedules (including scaffold)
* Assist project managers / site agents with onsite planning and reporting requirements
* Produce robust fully logic linked design, procurement, construction and commission tender programmes compliant with tender sum, design (where appropriate) and methodology without assistance for small to medium sized projects
* Produce tender deliverables as required (agreed at tender kick off meeting)
* Work with allocated operations support in the production of method statement and scaffold schedule etc and ensure that programme reflects agreed methods
* Ensure all deliverables are produced to the agreed Tender Activity Programme (TAP) timescales to ensure they are available to other members of the tender team in good time
* Engage with supply chain and team members to discuss and achieve optimum programme and method solutions
Essential Skills:
* CSCS Construction Planner – Preferable
* Competent in project management software; must be competent with MS Project, P6 Primavera
* Extensive experience in programme and project management, project planning, including programme controls, project review, and cost and risk analysis
* Full driving licence
