Zapsa limited are a talent acquisition specialist working in the Renewable Energy, Environmental, IT, Sustainability sectors.
We are working exclusively with an international provider of Operations and Maintenance services to the solar industry who are seeking an Office & Field manager to support the experienced field-based service engineers across the sector.
Position Title: OFFICE AND FIELD MANAGER (entry level)
Based at: High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire
Position reports to: Managing Director
Role overview: To support the head office and field teams to ensure the smooth running of the Company’s operations
Key Responsibilities:
* Work closely together with the Operations Director to understand current projects and priorities for the Field team
* Develop a relationship with the Office and Field Assistant based in India
* Support the reporting, documentation, and scheduling requirements of the HV team
* Support H&S processes including SHEQ meetings and reviewing dashcam footage
* Oversee the maintenance inventory of furniture, plant/machinery, and equipment & tools
* Oversee the Company’s vehicle fleet including insurance, telematics, repairs, leasing and toll account management.
* Ensure availability and care of company field equipment including uniform, PPE, telephones, laptops and tooling
* Support the field team in the use of company IT systems including ticketing systems
* Support field and office team in travel requirements including accommodation
* Manage head office services including intruder alarm, fire alarm, air conditioning, telephones, cleaning and utilities
* Oversee supplies of stationery, equipment and sundries
* Dealing with incoming email and post, and corresponding on behalf of the company as appropriate
* Organise meetings and take minutes of meetings when required
* Research client base from target lists and make necessary phone calls and meetings to help sales.
* Contacting existing solar farm owners in the UK re O&M and inverter re-powering work.
* Contacting new solar farm constructors in the UK and Ireland.
* Answer questions from clients and schedule appointments and meetings, as necessary.
* Developing marketing materials including case studies.
* Updating the website and social media.
* Assist in tender responses. Attend Exhibitions as required.
Skills required:
* Proactive with strong organizational skills, able to prioritize and manage a number of tasks concurrently
* Excellent communication is a must, both verbally and in written form
* Ability to build relationships with an international network and key stakeholders across different levels in and out of the organisation
* knowledge of MS Office Suite packages is essential, including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Able to use internet programs would be an advantage
* Strong interpersonal skills
* A self-starter, flexible mindset
* Discreet and ability to maintain confidentiality
* Graduate with a keen interest in the sector
