My High Wycombe based client are looking for a Machine Setter to join them on a permanent basis.

As Machine Setter, you will be:

* Setting and maintaining packing machines/lines for specific tasks and for maximum efficiency against stated target output for a busy contract packing company

* Working on multiple lines and products, where no two days are the same

* Be responsible for ensuring that the machinery is continuously running

* Carrying out any preventative maintenance and dealing with any mechanical and servicing issues that arise.

* Be expected to diagnose issues and check, replace and clean parts

* Be very hands on with changing and loading different materials on to the machines which can weigh approx 30kg

To be successful, you will:

* Have experience as a machine operator or machine setter

* Have relevant mechanical experience and/or aptitude

* Be physically fit and happy to lift heavy loads.

* Enjoy a very busy workload

* Have the ability to work at pace

* Happy to work shift patterns which include nights

Full training will be given on the bespoke machines.

Working hours will be a shift pattern of Monday to Friday 05:15 – 16:30 and 17:00 – 04:15 with breaks every 2 hours. Pay starts from £11/hr but will increase in time with training
