Austin Vita are currently recruiting for a Junior/Graduate Project Engineer position supporting a Medical Devices organisation based in the UK, Buckinghamshire.

As a Project Engineer you will be supporting a huge variety of processes and people, from reporting to the Senior Project Engineer to manage the design & development process of new products and modifications of existing own brand products, to the marketing department to capture User Needs/other inputs, to the RA department in terms of materials, performance or any other testing or information that is required to support approvals. Throughout which, you will have the opportunity to liaise with subcontractors to ensure the output of the NPI process meets all performance, pricing and other requirements.

The core experience they are looking for centres on:

Literate and numerate – ideally a graduate in an Engineering discipline.

Manufacturing/Design engineer with knowledge of the processes used in the plastics or medical devices industry.

Proficient in 2D and 3D electronic drawing packages (CAD).

Knowledge of QA/QC Systems and techniques.

Total command of computer tools, Office (especially Excel).

Ability to read, understand and influence Engineering product design drawings.

Have a detailed and methodical mind, with good organisational skills.

A great communicator, both written and oral.

A self-motivated person, with the ability to make logical and decisive decisions and who is flexible in their approach to the tasks set as well as with other members of staff and suppliers.

Full driving license and passport to enable travel in the UK and abroad.
