Are you an IT Network/Infrastructure Engineer looking for an exciting and challenging role where no day will be the same? Do you want the chance to work on set with some of the world's biggest names in cinema?
A fantastic opportunity has arisen to work for a leading remote production and film equipment rental house. They supply specialist equipment to the film and TV production industry worldwide – this is the perfect time to join their small but rapidly growing business, as they continue to succeed and expand year on year.
The client is looking for an additional engineer to join the service team. The role will be primarily based on film sets where you will be responsible for configuring and supporting network infrastructure. It is a varied role which will include rigging and derigging of fibre/copper cables, deploying mobile flight-cased network equipment and rigging access point.
The Role:
Configuring, installing, and replacing network equipment
Configuring WLANs & VLANs
Troubleshooting network equipment in a fast paced environment
Assist with issues from workstations, operating systems, application & reducing downtime and productivity for all users
Extensive travel throughout the UK and staying away
The Person:
It/Networking Engineering background
Proficient in configuring and troubleshooting networking equipment
Hands on installation and maintenance background
