Highway Works Foreman

A highly established, international specialist in Construction and Engineering are looking for an experienced Highways Works Foreman, ideally based within easy access to High Wycombe to join their management team with £30,624,00 + package

Highway Works Foreman will:

Highway Works Foreman will Undertake Works Managers Duties in their absence
Highway Works Foreman will Organise contract labour, plant and sub contract requirements
Highway Works Foreman will Prepare & deliver daily briefings
Highway Works Foreman will Ensure all Operatives and Sub Contractors are inducted onto Contract/Scheme as well as toolbox talks
Highway Works Foreman will Ensure all operatives on site have had relevant method statement, risk assessment and COSHH briefings prior to commencement of work on site
Highway Works Foreman will report accidents, incident and utility strikes in a timely manner and Liaise with Local Authorities and Police as required to obtain necessary consents
Highway Works Foreman will Book road space in conjunction with the planning department
Highway Works Foreman will Carry out quality checks on works
Highway Works Foreman will complete daily vehicle inspection sheets/drivers hours books are completed & up to date
Highway Works Foreman will Identify additional works providing a report and submission in extra costs to Works Manager
Highway Works Foreman:

Highway Works Foreman will benefit from participating in out of hours Emergency, Call Out / Winter Maintenance operations.
Highway Works Foreman will benefit from call out rota resulting in extra pay
Highway Works Foreman will work Monday – Friday with a 1 in 5 night shift
Highway Works Foreman will will be paid up to £30,624 basic salary, pension, van, sick pay
Highway Works Foreman will have General Works Foreman: 2 years (Required) and HGV Class 2
