Field Service Engineer – Permanent – High Wycombe – £30 – £35K + 10% bonus + benefits and company Van

We are recruiting a Service Engineer to cover the UK which will be based at our offices in High Wycombe. You will be working as part of the company’s technical support team providing support internally to other departments, and externally to customers, installers and other industry professionals.

Field based work would be to carry out the service, commissioning, and call-out duties on a wide range of Ventilation products within the HVAC Industry. A company van would be provided. Office based duties would include working in our offices providing 2nd line support to customers and colleagues by phone and email. As the department grows so will the amount of time spent in the Field. This will require you to be able to prioritise your work, set targets, and distribute work as necessary to ensure results are achieved on time.

Qualifications/ Knowledge:

• Have a demonstrable technical background, preferably in HVAC but not essential

Must have a background working in a field based service engineer role

• Must hold a full driving licence valid for the UK

• Fluent English, both spoken and written is essential

• A working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel

• NICEIC, BPEC or CSCS card desirable, but training would be provided

Skills:

• Strong customer service skills and the ability to interact confidently with customers and colleagues to provide support and training on products and systems

• The ability to interpret and communicate technical data and being able to communicate this effectively both verbally and in writing to the target audience (e.g. end user vs designer)

• Understanding of architectural drawings and technical specifications

• Quality focussed with a proactive approach to technical challenges

• Ability to manage multiple deadlines within a tight schedule Experience:

• Minimum of three years previous experience in a similar field service engineer role

• Experience of reading, understanding and interpreting technical reports and drawings
